G.S.O performed at Milagres Church before a big audience.
The Marble floor and high ceiling provided the much required "live-room" sound to
the instruments of the orchestra. This brief reflection of sound , known as `natural reverb'
came as a pleasant surprise to the performers and helped in enhancing their performance firstly as individuals , secondly as a whole group playing together.
Conductor Nauzer Daruwalla charmed the audience like always.
Fr. Miranda gave an introdutory speech and a brief talk during intermission.
Gorette Pinheiro led the string section from the first desk beautifully.
"RIGAUDON" {5} from the Holberg Suite was rendered expertly by the soloist-violist, Edgar Mendes and solo-violinist, Sancha M. Pereira, backed by G.S.O.
